Terms of service

1. The service

AI Register Ireland (the “Service”) is a software subscription operated by Acuity AI Advisory (“we”, “us”) that provides an AI governance register: system inventory, structured self-assessment against published regulatory rulesets, obligation tracking, document generation and an audit log. The Service provides general regulatory information and structured self-assessment; it does not provide legal advice, and your use of outputs is at your own judgment.

2. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping access to your sign-in email secure. You may not attempt to access another organisation’s data, probe or disrupt the Service, or use it to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

3. Subscriptions and trials

The Register tier includes a 14-day free trial with no payment details required. Paid subscriptions are billed annually in advance, plus VAT, and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice, effective from your next renewal.

4. Your data

Your register data belongs to you. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in the privacy policy, and you can export it at any time. The audit log is append-only by design: entries cannot be edited or deleted during the life of the account, because its evidential integrity is the point of the Service.

5. Regulatory content

Rulesets, deadlines and regulatory updates are maintained on a reasonable-efforts basis and versioned so your classifications remain reproducible. Items marked as pending (for example, deadlines subject to formal adoption) may change; the Service reflects such changes through ruleset updates rather than silently rewriting history.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken in reliance on Service outputs without appropriate professional advice. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law.

7. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms with notice via the Service; continued use after the effective date is acceptance. Questions: ger@acuityai.co.
