Questions Irish businesses ask
If your organisation uses AI, parts of the Act are likely to apply. For example, organisations already need to take reasonable steps to ensure that people using AI have suitable knowledge and training. Other requirements depend on what the AI does and how it affects people. AI Register asks about the actual use and identifies what needs attention.
No software can guarantee compliance on its own. AI Register helps you identify how AI is being used, understand which requirements apply, assign responsibility and preserve evidence of the decisions made. Specialist legal advice may still be required in particular circumstances.
No. AI Register records information about how an AI tool is used, who is responsible and what safeguards are in place. It does not need access to your prompts, documents or production AI systems.
No. Customer records are not used to train AI models. On Assure, a limited summary of your registered suppliers, uses and priorities is used to prepare organisation-specific updates. It does not include your organisation's name, personal names or the information processed by your AI tools.
